I now have a fairly even split of about 10 or so folks I regularly chat with on each — but WhatsApp is still very much the default for arranging events with normal people or when meeting someone new.
I feel like it's not just about privacy anymore though. Now it feels like a moral imperative to reduce the dominance of these corps.
