I was very confused with your response, but I think I understand it now. Yes, sex ought to be considered sacred, but I don't think "fuck you" is attempting to portray good sex as a crude and bad thing.
Take a look at a similar sounding insult: "go fuck yourself." This one doesn't require us to corrupt our thinking about sex in order for it to work as an insult. Masturbation (AKA "fucking oneself") can often be considered shameful for Sunday school reasons. (Depending on your Sunday school of course.) But even if you are a crude person, it's obvious why it's bad if someone you want to have sex with tells you to go have sex with yourself instead.
That's why I don't want to assume that "fuck you" is intending to portray sex as bad. I want to learn the etymology of the insult first.
