"content": "Well, it might be the tools too :D There are different 'levels' of colouring pencils, and if you get school-grade or beginner ones, they can come out pretty light even with hard layering. The ones I have are one of the most expensive kinds, and they are much darker and more vibrant and able to do a *lot* of layering (on paper that can handle it) to get very dense pigment.
