PSA: When I talk about the Fediverse, I’m not talking about Mastodon specifically—though Mastodon is included.
I, myself, don’t use Mastodon. Instead, I use Akkoma+Mangane—and I like it quite a lot. I can make long posts, use Markdown, and have great search options.
