I thought of a new type of motivation to get me back on track and keep me exercising. I've backslid quite a bit in sleep quality and quantity, which has messed with my energy badly.
Thought last night about a goal I could reach with intentional exercise. I walk several miles already each day thanks to my fast food job, but other times I need more of a boost.
So, my goal is to basically walk/jog 500 miles between July 1st and December 31st, so 6 months. I think it's doable and a bit challenging at the same time. Illness or power outage might take away some days, but I should have enough in me to keep going.
And I'm only recording intentional exercise on foot. I have a rower, but I haven't restarted that exercise plan yet and if I make it a habit, I can make a plan for rowing next year.
Because of power outages & illness, I've gotten less than planned already (3 of 11 days to record).
So:
GOAL: 500 miles by Dec 31
as of Jul 11: 10.85 miles
I'll probably update weekly after this.
