It's a ground cover that grows no taller than 10cm but scan quickly spread many meters. It takes over the planted areas in our yard every February and March. IMHO is quite pretty when it blooms, but it turns gnarly and messy when the weather warms. Pulling it spreads the seeds everywhere, which is why they always come back next year. It is considered invasive in California.
