The basic gist: "AI" is selling the idea that there's a shortcut to artistic endeavour, a shortcut to *doing the damn work*. Like the diet/weight loss industry, if there was an actual shortcut it would tear the bottom out of the "new hot thing" cycle and the entire thing would collapse overnight.
