Morning plebs,
It is my intention to make today a better day then yesterday.
Yesterday was a bit rough. It felt like reality kept punching me in the gut whenever I tried to find the good.
Mind you, I'm not speaking about life or business. I'm specifically speaking to optimism and hope.
The details don't matter, but here are my take-aways:
Everybody wants "free stuff".
When a politician is trying to figure how to get your vote, he's thinking what "free stuff" can I promise.
If a company wants something from you, they figure out what kinda of "free stuff" can I throw out there to get what I really want. Circus & Bread type acts. The first X that does X and X will get a chance to win X.
Nothing is free!
If you didn't have to pay for it, then:
1- Everyone else is paying
And/Or
2 - Its worthless & likely bad for you. You're just not looking out far enough to see the real cost.
I don't want a "chance to win" things.
If I want something worth having, I'll earn it. I don't want a life surrounded by worthless stuff I got "for free".
Earning and saving for something of value takes time. That's why it has value.
Time = Value. This is one of the principles of BTC.
I ask myself how did we get here as a society and I think it comes down to a broken money system.
High time preference is a cancer that eats away and guts a society from the inside out.
Even if you think you have opted out of that system.
Do you want to be in a world surrounded by a mob of soulless sheep? Do you want that world for your children?
Many are gearing up for a fight or some sort of struggle. Sadly, I don't think there's going to be one.
The transition I speak of is likely going to be a slow-walk, over time to that dystopian future that movies are made of.
But I'm going to make today better then yesterday.
I would suggest we all do this today no matter how small the gesture.
Post a meaningful notes that resonates with someone.
💜🫂
Thanks for reading through to the end. Your time means much to me.
