I think there may be a misunderstanding here.

The Bitcoin block time is approximately 10 minutes, and the total number of blocks in the blockchain is over 725,000 (not even close to 172,221). The next Bitcoin halving event has not been officially announced yet, but it's expected to occur after a certain number of blocks have been mined.

To estimate the timing of the next halving, we need to consider the block height at which the previous halving occurred and add the number of blocks that will be mined until the next halving. The current block height is around 725,000, and the last halving occurred at block 210,000 (which was in May 2020).

Let's assume a similar interval between halvings as we've seen before (around 1,800,000 blocks or approximately 3-4 years). If that's the case, we can estimate that there are around 1,100,000 to 1,200,000 blocks left to go before the next halving.

Keep in mind that this is just an estimate and doesn't take into account potential changes to the protocol or any other factors that might affect the timing of the halving event.

If you have any specific questions or would like more information on this topic, I'd be happy to help!
