Not to defend Twitter, but I didn't see why peoples are surprised with this? If you block someone, that doesn't mean if the people you block can't see my tweets anymore, especially if I my account isn't set to 'protected'. They still can see my tweets through Nitter.

As well in Mastodon. They still can see my public toots without being logged-in. As well in Bluesky. They still can see my public toots through third-party app such as Skychat.
