Confirmed that OTA upgrades work on Android but not exactly as in the Meshtastic documentation.
The NRF DFU app from the play store does actually work despite the documentation saying that it doesn’t. I needed to change a couple of settings in the app before the firmware update would complete without errors:
1. Set “Packet Receipt Notification” to on and packets to 10.
2. Disable “Request High MTU”

OTA firmware upgrades via Bluetooth are a useful way to update RAK4631 nodes that are in difficult to access locations. They don’t work well from iOS devices however as I discovered the hard way.. The firmware update failed and left the node in DFU mode needing to be connected via USB to update. Apparently this is a common issue trying to update using iOS. I haven’t tested an OTA update using Android yet but I have heard from others that it works well.
