Biden can still do a fairly good job in a controlled environment like a teleprompter speech. It's the unscripted situations where the decline is most obvious. And his current situation is not to detract in any way from his accomplishments up to this point. To get ahead of this now, they'd have to have him in an array of unscripted situations, Q&As, press conferences, etc. I am dubious that they are going to do that, but we'll see.
