I listened to the English Standard Version of the Bible last year. Christian actor Max McLean did a recording of the New International Version (NIV), which I've also listened to, and it is good. Just about all of the newer Bible translations also have audio formats because they are under copyright and it gives the publishers something else they can sell.",
