but that it was used as a protest vote should be obvious. Both major parties were actively campaigning for remain. And there are people who live in safe seats for both major parties. While I understand that my vote was ill thought through, you have to recognise that in more than 20 years of voting that is the only national vote I have cast that made any difference, and both major parties are still now ignoring me. I won't be the only one.
