Arguing with a close friend who is "both sides are just as bad, don't like Trump but can't bring myself to vote for Kamala" and "we already had one Trump term and everything was fine, so why are you being so hysterical about this" and it is absolutely fucking exhausting emotional labor. I can (and do) citation the shit out of this, providing absurd amounts of facts, data, and evidence.. but good lord. Can people really be this dumb? Apparently they can. And I'm friends with them. This raises so many questions internally that I am uncomfortable answering.
