Point of note: My last car was a (2019) Toyota and I thought their entertainment center software and CarPlay integration was mediocre at best. Switching back and forth between their UI and CarPlay was abrupt and awkward and I had problems recovering volume control and other basics that shouldn't have been an issue. Often had to hard-reset the head unit or the phone to sort stuff out. Fugly.
