Strange.
Last year I wrote about the odd problem of the red heart emoji/emoticon, that this is displayed black during typing but then is red after posting.
I think it has to do with encoding, other colours work fine. The red heart was the first, things may be different for it.
But now; the red heart is not red in Signal, not during or after posting. The other hearts display properly. This, well, it's frustrating! 😂 I am stumped by this. This needs to be resolved!
