For the last number of years I've been working really hard to take words like "stup*d" and "id*ot" out of my vocabulary because I believe that they're oppressive language that have a history of being used as slurs against people with neurodiverse brains, people with learning disabilities, people who have brain injuries, and who weren't able to access education for a variety of reasons, (as well as others).
But reading some of you all comments really fucking tests my dedication to it.. really.
