I just used flash.android.com to flash a wear OS build to my pixel watch. It used WebUSB which of course isn't supported by Firefox, so I used Chrome.
This experience confirmed my preexisting belief that WebUSB is too dangerous for the web. Why is that? Well, apart from the "Allow the website to use device X" permission prompt, the entire flow was driven by the content on the page.
