But yeah, you still have to snip and glue. I think there are more grinder-ish options than the $2 scissors that are standard that are less likely to get into the bleeding area. But probably pricey?
My chill cat was super chill about her nails so I never had any incidents with her. My other cat has always been bitey about getting them trimmed, so it's always really just been trying to keep up with the extra sharp ones when they get out of hand.
