npub1nvwpkl3w65cs4pa6j7wdukpw0xatqptr0jqj08w4u8h7f9kyz5zqc3w5s9 (npub1nvw…w5s9) but their existing dealerships sued them to stop this, forcing them (in many or most U.S. states) to give out allocations to dealers that they know are terrible to customers.
They then tried to work around this by creating a new Genesis dealership network, but this really murdered the sales of their initial vehicles on the Genesis side since they had basically no dealers. I think Geely/Volvo is trying to do the Tesla thing via the Polestar brand. We'll see how that works.
