Real talk: if any TTRPG friends have any experience with either play-by-post games that work well on slow timescales, or adapting games into that format, I’d love to figure out how to make that a part of my life. Could be forum RPing, could be an explicitly designed epistolary game where we write and mail handwritten letters, I don’t care.
But that sort of play pattern feels like something that could help bring chronically ill people together in a meaningful way.
