Consider: in Traditional Christianity, we are indisputably instructed and expected to pray to the Almighty God, as though He hears our prayers, and answers them. I doubt anyone would be able to argue successfully that this is not the Traditional teaching on the subject.
Independently of any logical argument seeming to imply otherwise, we have it on His authority that this is His expectation.
So there’s not really any need to rationalize or justify it.
Any argument that would suggest to us that such a course is “incorrect”, must clearly be coming from God’s enemy - it that it’s recommending we *disobey* what amounts to one of the clearest Traditions in our history.
Note: I’m not demanding anyone *agree* with me or my presuppositions / conclusions; simply articulating what those are. Thanks for the opportunity to do so !
