"content": "this is reminiscent of the pagan traditions in other branches of Christianity TBH. Death comes for us all, and it comes as a relief for those of us who are suffering. There's nothing strange (IMO) about reverence for death.\r\n\r\nDeath comes not to take our lives but to guide us to the other side. We should be grateful and comforted by its presence, for there is no life without death.",
