The Beauty of the Lightning Network — A Kenyan experience
(Lightning doesn’t strike the same place twice)
What a way to usher in the new year, a lightning bolt struck the U.S. Capitol on New Year’s Eve! In the traditional African societies, a lightning strike is rarely seen as a random act of nature. It’s often interpreted as a sign of the gods’ displeasure, a warning or a message of impending significant change.
With Donald Trump’s second term as President of the United States set to begin on January 20, 2025, and all the turbulence that marked 2024, this lightning strike feels like a precursor of seismic shifts ahead, perhaps even divinely orchestrated.
For me, however, the lightning strike carries a different kind of message. I see it as a symbol of innovation and transformation. The Year of the Lightning Network!
