My time in uni was pretty rough, went quite deep into depression and I don't remember most of those two years. I do remember a lot of the music I listened to though.

Listening to music generally places me where I first heard it. I remember where I was, what games I was playing, who my friends were. Very handy given my bad memory.

But with music I listened to in uni it's super familiar but also like it's detached from me. Very odd.
