People would finally start taking responsibility for their own thoughts. For once every thought is easily accessible to all then it becomes as if everyone is walking around open carrying a firearm.
An armed society is a polite society. Just as a telepathic society would become a polite society. For when there is nothing left to hide from anyone then the truth has no where else to go, but out in the open for everyone to know and face together.
