"content": "If I understand correctly Spotify would reccommend things that were adjacent to songs other users had beside the ones you liked in their playlists. I think it makes sense that would be subject to a sort of popularity entropy, where less popular music gets overshadowed by the repeated presence of popular songs, especially as the platform reached mass adoption, the sample size increased and more people with average tastes made more playlists.",
