6/ They should decouple completely Trump’s repeated lies abt a “stolen” election that began in the wee hrs of election night, continuing right through his #Jan6 rally, & subseq bloody assault on police officers that took place just up the st at the Capitol.
This is, needless to say, a disgrace.
We're not playing off Romney's campaign against Obama's. Both of those men believe in the rule of law & sanctity of elections.
Right now we're dealing w a man who literally tried to end our democracy.
