well, it's not as much wanting something to be perfect as it is tuning things to support a comfortable level of absenteeism for the mods.
If we were at the switch all day long we could be far more liberal in what we accept. Although in the case of .ie we would still reject anything from Facebook due to historical abuses by the company. Some organisations would be given a blank Fedi slate by us - and have - but the crimes of FB are too many.
