Hmm, I'm fine with iOS wallpapers not supporting HDR, but it seems like whatever conversion they do to SDR only works does not work on photos that have been touched up in Pixelmator
For instance, the original photo is in HDR, setting as a wallpaper, looks great
Edit the original photo, still looks HDR and great in Photos, set as a wallpaper, suddenly looks really over exposed
In other words, it's less about it not being HDR, and more about the SDR conversion being wonky for edits
