From the perspective of a #Mastodon user, there are lots of things missing from #Threads.
* People. Meta is papering over this by using an algorithm to dump people you don't care about into your feed. It looks busy but it's mostly just noise.
* Edit button. You can't.
* The World Wide Web. Yes, this is a social network you can't use with your computer and a web browser. Need a phone and an app.
* Chronological feed of people you follow. There is only one view, and it's the undocumented algo.
* Content warnings.
* Translation.
* Hashtags.
* Content filters.
* Stability (I have seen three or four app crashes in < 24 hours.)
* Alt text descriptions for images.
I'm sure I'm missing some more things that are missing.
