One thing that's cool about playdate that's too tough to do on Gameboy is 1 bit art. Technically you can do it but it's easier to dither at higher resolutions. Here's a little experiment showing how I might approach 1 bit art if I had more pixels to work with. Maybe someday I will do something in 1 bit. We will see.
