New owners, indeed, painted it the light gray. But that's on them. We loved the blue.

The house we owned before that had strong colors. Each room had its own color, too. It was awesome.

Current house we had to move in too quickly to customize, but the people before us already had different colors in most rooms. I still want to paint, but the colors are a nice feature already.
