It's the same on the left or right. Nobody votes for these things because your vote doesn't give you power over any actual law.
Do you have power over any law or budget? Do you have any way to control Trump, or any president, senator or any "representative" in any way, shape or form? Of course you don't. They can do anything and you (us) can't do squat about it.
They can do whatever they want at any level. It's all a big scam. They use the word democracy. The only real democracy for me is Switzerland. There the people (any individual) can veto actual budgets, specific laws, etc, etc.
