I’ve been eating an animal-based diet for five days now. Here’s an update:
🥩 I feel fuller and more satisfied after eating.
💪🏻 My stomach is less bloated.
☕️ I was a daily drinker of coffee with a few servings of sugar laced creamer. I dropped coffee completely and had headaches from caffeine withdrawal for the first three days. By day 4, the headaches were gone. I’ve replaced the cup of coffee with beef bone broth in the morning.
🍞 I haven’t had any grains for five days. This is the first time in my life I’ve accomplished this.
🍿 I feel the urge to snack. Not because I’m hungry, but because I’m still breaking bad habits. I haven’t caved!
🧈 I’m cooking with ghee daily. It really elevates the natural flavors of the beef and chicken I’m eating.
🍩 I haven’t consumed processed foods or anything with added sugar for five days. This is another first for me!
I’m going strong. Give y’all another update at day 10!
