Last night I was able to give someone my spare reusable insulin pen (because they'd left theirs at work which closes down over the next few days). They couldn't get another one from a chemist because it was after 9pm. Maybe they could have gone to a hospital? I don't know.
The unique panic diabetics feel when they face being unable to have insulin for a few hours is universal amongst us and we all want to help each other because no one else understands really.
