hey, a lot of love for extra fine! I generally go with the extra fine to fine range. I use 7.5mm line spacing, which is two boxes in a Hobonichi and 1.5 boxes in 5mm grid. F and EF work well in this.
I generally skip everything broader than that until stubs. So very fine or extremely broad (:
