The far east was only reachable for TV transmissions from Moscow after communication satellites were in place, which only happened after 1965 (see Boris Chertok, 'Rockets and People', or Scott Manley's recent YT series). I doubt there were terrestrial live TV transmissions frm SU to W Europe at the time, but telecom history sources could clarify this.",
