TIL that RPM matters.
Didn’t realize the Noctua fan has a 2000 RPM max until the Apollo kept shutting off while in “Turbo” mode. Even in “Balanced”, the shell was noticeably hotter to the touch.
The stock fan (with a 4000 RPM max) is just a bit louder but for good reason. Needless to say, we are back at 3 Th/s 🤙
