The current Fediverse spam wave is definitely highlighting the utility of some sort of shared moderation capability. Being able to configure the server to use a shared blocklist of both servers and accounts would be incredibly useful. Obviously not one-blocklist-to-rule-them-all, but perhaps a "subscribe to new blocks from servers I trust" approach.
