Last night I rewatched "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".
I think I knew this all along, but it really isn't a kids movie.
By that I mean the plot centres around infidelity, blackmail, murder, and stealing inheritences. Turn down the lights a bit, and it's essentially film noir. And several of the jokes I only really understood when I was older.
But yes, there is also a hyperactive cartoon rabbit in it.
Anyway, I really like it, even despite the tonal oddity.
The Daffy Duck vs Donald Duck duelling pianos scene had me in stitches.
