Loyalty is built around both parties not breaching mutual and shared values. Blind loyalty when the other party has devolved into disgusting behavior and poor values means you’re a sucker. Additionally, if those values haven’t been breached and you easily ping-pong around to place your loyalties (time and energy) with other groups and people that appear to give you “more reward”, then you might be selfish and unloyal. There’s a lot crammed into that word but the best way to unravel the meaning is by focusing on each party’s true intentions (which might be really hard to actually understand).
