America is still stuck in a past that thinks we're special and should run the world and don't need social programs cause Boomers who grew up competing against other countries still suffering from the effects of WW2 are still clinging to political power. The first kids of that generation turn 80 next year. We built the suburbs for them with massive taxes on the rich that faded just as they got old enough to make real money. Their numbers decided our politics for their entire lives. #uspol
