So this law is probably a sign that the fascist government believes they no longer need the masses to believe in the rule of law, and they probably believe this because they think they have sufficiently installed enough Big Brother “telescreens” for spying on everyone to maintain control of the “proles,” and that they have militarized the police well enough that they no longer need to worry about any attempt at insurrection.
