"content": "My leccy meter has expired so I get a lot of phone calls emails etc. If yours is about to expire apparently it just gets slightly less accurate with age so its not a safety issue at all. Apparently 'they don't have the old ones anymore', despite me finding one online for the other day for £80 which at some point I will pay to be installed myself. I reckon I can then charge them to use it as years ago when I changed supplier they were dead keen on me using their meter as they told me if they didn't change it they would be charged by the other company as it was their property.",
