This problem is much more complex than it seems.
IMO first of all: they (the merchants) need to realize that our monetary system is broken.
And secondly: that the separation between money and state aka #Bitcoin is the best solution we've ever had.
Only then will a Nocoin merchant be open to the Bitcoin and Lightning solution.
I have been dealing with this topic for over 2 years now. My conclusion: it is neither a technical nor a tax problem. Rather, a (still) too small part of the population (in Europe) understands the real problem. Therefore, they are not open to solutions.
Unfortunately, I don't yet have a clear idea of how to solve it.
