Anyone else noticing a lot of new spam follower accounts from mastodon.social? I just blocked/reported three this morning. (Typical signs: the user profile is wall-to-wall advertising for some commercial product, be it a tourist agency for an Indian city or a vegan food store in a foreign country.)

Typically no or few followers, so not part of the fediverse discourse: just following in order to push the ads in their profile into your alerts.
