How do you define the productiveness of a librarian, teacher or a musician?
My wife used to be a performing violin player and played in the opera. A typical work day for her would be:
2 hour rehearsal in the morning
2-4 hour either actual performance in the evening or another rehearsal
Every single minute (awake) is used to practice and learn all the parts that need to be played, which she ofc wouldn't get any payment for.
rinse and repeat.
So what's productivity here? Is it the practice on your time off, or is it the amount of notes played?
