was just about to comment on this. So my notes are just a different jekyll collection with their own custom layout. I draft them up the same way I do posts but since they have a different layout and a different landing page they show up in a different spot in a different form on my site. But I've fashioned them to kinda look like a typical micro-blog post and tend to use that space for short-form blurps. I write a bit about my different post types here
